Contacting ARKO in an Emergency

If you have an urgent emergency relating to the communal parts of the building, you can contact ARKO on 01424 439786.  Please listen to the answer phone message outside of normal office hours for the out of hours emergency number.  You can also find our out of hours emergency number on all our correspondence and located on all our signs in the communal entrance of our managed properties.  The emergency number is available to call 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

Please bear in mind that we only deal with emergencies relating to the communal (Freehold) parts of your building.  We do not normally attend to emergencies relating solely to your private flat.  If you own a flat, it is good practice to have contact numbers for letting agents, plumbers, electricians and drainage contractors to deal with emergencies relating to your privately owned flat.    

Other Useful Contact Numbers in an Emergency

• FIRE OR SERIOUS INCIDENTS - 999  - If you discover a fire or even suspect one, you must call 999 as soon as it is safe to make the call.  You must always call the emergency services before calling ARKO.  The East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, can also assist with serious incidents that are causing an immediate danger to life.  For example:  severe building flooding, storm debris falling from a building causing a risk to the public or any similar dangerous incident where an instant emergency response is required.
